Aliens VS Predator: dog (or are they ox ?) soldiers

Small thing today

I'm trying to reduce the board game side of my pile of shame, so i painted some Aliens, Stalkers (or as they are known on fan's wikis, Runners) to be precise.

The chocolate brown colour is here to remind of the Alien 3 dog (or Ox depending of the version you watch) creature, and also to make them stand from the other black and blue aliens during games.

The picture suffers a bit from the light combined with the gloss varnish, but i honestly took no pleasure with them and you could tell by looking close (hence the lack of close-up picture ^^): the primer had a "dust snow incident" and i did not wanted to strip'em back so the painting was quite a pain in the ass. The miniatures themselves are very well detailed but you can tell they are from the early days of Prodos Miniatures: parts don't fit very well together and feet and legs are extremely thin making it hard to attach them to bases by glueing and pinning. Long story short, to have the best from them you need to give 'm more time than what i was willing to.

Anyway, the moment you paint their bean like head dome is still enjoyable.
